RXpursuit crosstraining grips
Looking for grips that can handle everything from pull-ups to toes-to-bars? At RXpursuit, we’ve got you covered with three different types of CrossTraining grips, each with unique features designed to help you crush your WODs. Whether you're just starting out or you’re a seasoned athlete, our grips are built to boost your performance and keep your hands protected.
What are crosstraining grips?
CrossTraining grips are designed to protect your palms and fingers during intense workouts like pull-ups, toes-to-bar, and muscle-ups. Made from durable materials like leather or synthetic fibres, they not only protect your skin from blisters and calluses but also enhance your grip strength. This means you can focus on your form and smashing your PBs, rather than worrying about hand pain.
Whether you're a beginner or an advanced CrossFitter, grips are essential to prevent injuries and improve your performance.

RXpursuit Ultra Sticky Fingerless Grips 2.2mm
Perfect for those who want maximum flexibility and comfort. At 2.2mm thick, these grips offer a super ‘sticky’ feel on the bar, ideal for gymnastics movements like pull-ups and muscle-ups. The fingerless design lets you wrap the grip over the bar, giving you freedom of movement without the hassle of finger holes. We recommend using our ultra sticky grips on smooth bars only.
Key features:
-
One-size-fits-all, with a flexible 2.2mm thickness
-
No need for chalk or magnesium
-
Long surface area for extra grip
RXpursuit Ultra Sticky Fingerless Grips 3.0mm
For those who need a bit more durability, the 3.0mm version is tougher, offering a stiffer feel and lasting longer, especially when used on coated bars. These grips are made for athletes who push their gear to the limit. We recommend using our ultra sticky grips on smooth bars only.
Key Features:
-
Made from strong, long-lasting materials
-
No chalk required
-
Extra-long surface for enhanced grip
Fingerlips Grips
Looking for grips with variable levels of grip? Don’t worry, we’ve got you covered! Discover our Fingerless Grips. These need chalk to create extra grip, but you can do so to your own preference.
Why buy crosstraining grips?
The two biggest reasons why many (elite) CrossFit athletes use grips are to improve their grip and to prevent painful blisters and calluses. But there’s more:
-
Extra comfort: Our grips give you more comfort during exercises on the bar and prevent your palms from blisters and tearing.
-
Better technique: With improved grip, you’ll feel more confident tackling complex movements, allowing you to focus on your form.
-
Natural feel: A common myth is that grips get in the way. In reality, well-made grips help maintain a natural connection to the bar while providing extra grip, allowing you to perform more efficiently.
Whether you're male or female, new to CrossFit, or a veteran, RXpursuit grips are designed for everyone.
FAQ: Everything you need to know about fingerless grips
-
What are fingerless grips used for? Fingerless grips are designed to protect your palms during CrossFit exercises like pull-ups, muscle-ups, and kettlebell swings without needing to thread your fingers through holes. They reduce blisters and give you better grip control.
-
Why choose fingerless grips? These grips offer more flexibility and comfort than traditional ones. They're easy to put on and take off, perfect for varied WODs, and give your palms full protection while leaving your fingers free for a more natural grip.
-
Do fingerless grips give enough grip on bars or rings? Absolutely! They’re designed to provide strong grip on bars, rings, and other CrossFit equipment, helping you maintain better control and stability during movements like pull-ups and toes-to-bar.
-
How do fingerless grips stay in place during workouts? They’re secured with a wrist strap or Velcro, and once you grab the bar, the pressure keeps the grip firmly in place, even during intense exercises.
-
Are fingerless grips suitable for beginners? Yes! They’re perfect for beginners as they’re easy to use, protect your hands from blisters, and help you feel more comfortable and confident in your workouts.
-
Are fingerless grips more comfortable than grips with finger holes? Many athletes find fingerless grips more comfortable because there’s no risk of finger holes pinching or feeling tight. They also allow more finger movement, making them ideal for longer training sessions.
-
Can fingerless grips move during workouts? They might shift slightly if not properly tightened or if they're too big. Our grips have been designed to fit for everybody! If you prefer less of a ‘flap’, you can just cut it to your preferred length.
-
How long do fingerless grips last? Depending on how often you use them and how well you maintain them, grips can last anywhere from a few months to a year. Keep them dry and clean to extend their lifespan. Our advice is to use our sticky grips on smooth bars to extend their lifespan.
-
How do I take care of my grips? After each workout, let them dry out and avoid keeping them in a sweaty gym bag. Clean them occasionally by hand with cold water, but don’t over-wash to avoid wear and tear.
-
Can I use fingerless grips for weightlifting? We would rather not. Lifting heavy weights regularly with the grips will decrease their lifespan and can be dangerous if you keep sticking to the bar if it drops. We would highly recommend our weightlifting tape instead!
-
How to clean your grips? This is our advice to keep your grips clean:
-
Soak them in a baking soda bath for 10 minutes and then rinse them off with water.
-
Let the grips dry completely before placing them back in the provided pouch. Always attach this pouch to the outside of your bag so they can air out.
-
Do not store them inside your bag, as it tends to be stuffy and won't allow proper ventilation.
